Tri-State/Service Roofing & Sheet Metal Company is an 86-year-old multi-state commercial construction group with 11 companies in the Southeastern United States. Due to growth, we have a full time Sales (SEPL) opportunity in Richmond, VA.

Tri-State/Service will provide an excellent training/mentoring program for the successful candidate. We have successfully trained exceptional people with diverse business experience outside the construction industry.


The SEPL is identified as a key person in our business, and to a large extent, he functions as an individual profit center, frequently being directly responsible for all aspects of the specific job from inquiry solicitation through estimating, sales closing, job management and billing. He is responsible for the workability and profitability of the completed job. The SEPL reports to the President and works with and through the field force and the management of the jobs he is assigned. The SEPL will call on commercial and industrial building owners, engineering, maintenance and facility managers.


Base salary will be augmented by profit sharing when corporate and personal goals are met. The SEPL who displays initiative and is decisive has a broad opportunity for personal growth and income, uninhibited by seniority. The trained, knowledgeable and well thought of SEPL with a track record of profitable jobs will be among the most highly compensated people in our company and in the construction industry.
