The Administrative Assistant is the key administrative support position in our business. The Administrative Assistant works closely with sales, service, bookkeeping and field people to ensure proper handling/disposition of all telephone calls, dictations, correspondence, proposals, filing, walk-in vendors or customers and all other areas of office administration.

This position has contact with the public and will be expected to project a positive image of the company. A professional and courteous manner is required in dealing with customers, suppliers, business associates, etc. either in person or on the phone.

The Administrative Assistant recognizes the importance of hard work and is a hustler who has a sense of urgency about getting things done. The Administrative Assistant is constantly on the alert for ways to improve the company results and reduce expenses.

The Administrative Assistant reports to the President/Chief Operator/Leader (PCOL) and follows the company philosophy and procedures as established by the PCOL. The Administrative Assistant understands and works within the "Mission" and "Principles" of the Company.

This is a challenging occupation requiring many skills. The Administrative Assistant must be both accurate and fast and have superior organization skills. The ability to handle a high volume of work is also a must. The ability to learn basic bookkeeping will provide a valuable safety net for vacations and other times those skills are needed.

The compensation plan for the Administrative Assistant includes an incentive opportunity. Base salary will be augmented by profit sharing when corporate and personal goals are met. Additional benefits include a profit sharing retirement plan, medical insurance, paid vacation and holidays, and income protection insurance.
