National Safety Stand-Down to Prevent Falls in Construction

stand-down-for-safetyThe U.S. Department of Labor’s Occupational Safety and Health Administration along with other federal safety agencies have designated May 2-6, 2016 for the third annual National Safety Stand-Down.

The Safety Stand-Down is a nationwide effort to remind and educate workers of the serious dangers of falls and the importance of preventing falls–the leading cause of worker deaths and serious injury in the construction industry.

When you work with a Tri-State/Service Roofing & Sheet Metal Group company, you’re working with an experienced and safe contractor.

Our groups hold regular meetings with a full safety agenda that includes toolbox talks and review of any accidents or near misses. Our superintendents and foremen average 20 years of experience on the job. From comprehensive safety orientation and training to pre-planning equipment for safe and productive work–to safety audits and worksite inspections–we know we do our very best work by doing safety right.
