Charleston, W. Va. and Parkersburg, W. Va. Tri-State divisions honored for safety excellence by state contractor association.

The Contractors Association of West Virginia (CAWV) recognized two Tri-State Roofing & Sheet Metal Company divisions for safety excellence in the workplace in 2022. The association presented the awards recently at the CAWV State Meeting held in conjunction with the Construction & Design EXPO at the Charleston Civic Center.

The “CAWV 2022 Safety Achievement Award – Specialty Contractor Division” was awarded to Tri-State of Parkersburg, W. Va. The “CAWV 2022 Safety Achievement Award – Building Division” went to Tri-State of Charleston, W. Va.

CAWV scores contractors participating in the program on their documented safety policies and procedures, commitment and approach to safety and health, and recorded statistical data for the year. Special attention is given to the quality of safety training provided to employees and members who demand active employee involvement in their safety process.

Tri-State works continuously to improve safety performance–evaluating and refining processes daily–with a zero injury and illness goal through their comprehensive safety program, “Working. Safe.”
