The annual event was established in 2012 by OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration), together with NIOSH (National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health) and NORA (National Occupational Research Agenda – Construction Sector).
The primary campaign message: “Plan. Provide. Train. Three simple steps to preventing falls.”
• PLAN ahead to do the job safely before starting each and every job.
• PROVIDE the right equipment for working at heights.
• TRAIN workers to use the equipment properly and to work safely on roofs, ladders, and scaffolds.
Tri-State/Service Group believes all falls can be prevented through these steps.
