Tri-State collaborated with WVU Medicine’s design team to execute a comprehensive exterior renovation of the WVU Medicine Thomas Hospitals Pediatric Center, modernizing the building envelope and transforming its appearance.
Our team replaced the original 3,500 sq. ft. faded red standing seam metal on the sloped roof areas with a new high-performance 24 ga. metal panel system in “Award Blue.” On the 4,500 sq. ft. low-slope areas, a 60 mil. EPDM system with upgraded tapered polyiso insulation ensures water-tight, energy-efficient performance.
Color-matched soffit and radius siding panels complement the sloped metal roof and complete the exterior transformation.
Tri-State has extensive experience working in sensitive areas like this fully operational medical facility, coordinating and communicating with other trades to minimize disruptions to building occupants and other contractors.
Tri-State planned and executed the project safely according to our “Working. Safe.” protocols including proper fall protection systems, scaffolding, and a secure perimeter.
