Professional tradesmen will be honored across America on September 16, National Tradesmen Day.
Held on the third Friday of September each year, it was established in 2011 to inspire the nation to show more appreciation and gratitude for skilled workers like roofers, mechanics, bricklayers, plumbers, woodworkers, electricians and carpenters – America’s real working hands.
Tradesmen are at the heart of what we do. We appreciate the important skilled work they perform–working, building, constructing, and repairing buildings, roofs, HVAC and mechanical systems.
“I’m happy to honor our country’s skilled tradesmen on Sept. 16, and the 364 days that follow. I’d encourage anyone else who has benefited from their work to do the same.” -Mike Rowe, host of “Dirty Jobs”
