Two Tri-State divisions recognized for safety excellence by the Contractors Association of West Virginia.

The Contractors Association of West Virginia (CAWV) recognized two Tri-State Roofing & Sheet Metal Company divisions for safety excellence in the workplace in 2021. The association presented the awards recently at the CAWV State Meeting held in conjunction with the Construction & Design EXPO at the Charleston Civic Center.

The “CAWV 2021 Safety Achievement Award – Building Division” was awarded to Tri-State of Parkersburg, W. Va. The “CAWV 2021 Safety Achievement Award – Industrial Division” went to Tri-State of Charleston, W. Va.

CAWV scores contractors participating in the program on their documented safety policies and procedures, commitment and approach to safety and health, and recorded statistical data for the year. Special attention is given to the quality of safety training provided to employees and members who demand active employee involvement in their safety process.

Tri-State works continuously to improve safety performance–evaluating and refining processes daily–with a zero injury and illness goal through their comprehensive safety program, Working. Safe.
